Promises take on all kinds of forms; each one makes us feel a different way towards it. It can give us hope, encouragement, doubt, and sometimes neglect. However, a promise from Joy is like no other, for its abundance stretches before birth and after departure. It promises there as the child dances, plays, and tickles happiness of innocence. She knows not the cares of the world, but as promised, Joy will be there when she does. It manifests itself again there in the womb glowing. The soon to be mother embraces that glow, holding onto the unborn child's promise. Seasoned in age and wisdom, joyous memories of her life motivates her to clear a path for her unborn to follow. Lake City is known for its amazing crop raising, dusky flatland, muddy-swamp wetland, endless fishing, surplus of snakes, and the Gullah people culture.
