One child is gathering Spanish moss to represent health and healing as Spanish moss in the Gullah culture is used to help lower high blood pressure. The other child is sitting in the tree to represent how precious trees are as it provides homes to many animals and humans. Her sitting in the tree also represents understanding our history and heritage.
